Grace is a Gift

Freely given.

Never earned.

It does not lower the standard.

It opens the way back to it.

Grace does not pretend holiness is optional.

It simply makes a way for me to approach it again.

Grace restores access —

and access changes everything.

Access to God.

Access to His pres

ence.

Access to the authority that comes from standing near Him.

Grace washes sin and guilt away —

not so I can remain as I was,

but so I can come close enough

to become something new.

Grace is not permission.

It is proximity.

And proximity produces authority.

But authority does not come through pride.

It comes low.

God gives more grace to the humble.

And when I draw near to Him,

He draws near to me.

Grace does not excuse disobedience.

It restores relationship —

so obedience becomes possible again.

Holiness is not negotiated.

God is holy.

And grace does not compete with holiness —

it carries me toward it.

Grace meets humility.

Humility bends the will.

Submission places me under God’s authority.

And from that place —

resistance has weight.

And the enemy flees.

Grace is not the freedom to stay the same.

It is the gift that brings me close enough

to be transformed.
